Construction steel: On March 13, the average price of 20mm Grade III seismic deformed steel bars in 31 major cities nationwide was 4401 yuan/ton, up 14 yuan/ton from the previous trading day. In the short term, the current market mentality is relatively optimistic, the demand is expected to continue to recover, and the steel price is strong and volatile. Hot rolled plate and coil: On March 13, the average price of 4.75mm hot rolled plate and coil in 24 major cities nationwide was 4483 yuan/ton, up 30 yuan/ton from the previous trading day. In the near future, the demand side of finished products has improved more than expected, and the steel industry has continued to refresh its stage high. In April, Baosteel's domestic price of plates continued to rise by 200 yuan. The steel mill reported that most of the varieties were under pressure to order, and some of the varieties were not satisfied with the order. However, the overall downstream end order was still relatively positive, and the apparent demand for plates decreased on a month-on-month basis. On the supply side, the profit of the steel plant has been restored recently, and the supply growth continues under the condition that the operating rate of blast furnace and the utilization rate of ironmaking capacity have increased month-on-month. The output increased significantly, and the overall supply of finished products increased steadily.

Cold rolled coil: On March 13, the average price of 1.0mm cold coil in 24 major cities across the country was 4881 yuan/ton, up 24 yuan/ton from the previous trading day. On the 13th, the hot spot futures in the morning market were stronger, and some market quotations were raised, and the transaction was fair. According to the feedback of recent market research, with the increase of ordering price of steel mills, the ordering cost of trade links increases; In addition, the downstream demand was better than that of the same period last year, and the enthusiasm for replenishment was improved.

Medium and thick plate: On March 13, the average price of 20mm ordinary plate in 24 major cities across the country was 4605 yuan/ton, up 26 yuan/ton from the previous trading day. At the supply level, due to the low production profit of the common carbon steel plate, the enthusiasm of putting it on the market is not high, and the order of variety steel in March is good, and the output is mainly guaranteed variety steel. From the perspective of current market inventory, as the supply side will not recover in the short term, the spot inventory will continue to decline, and the main distribution centers will gradually be out of stock, and the spot price is expected to continue to rise.
